This is the hot swap fan used in the Gateway 9715 server. The fan has a status LED which lights to indicate a failed fan.

WME869992 fan is used in the server. The fan is speed controlled by the baseboard management controller (BMC). When installed in the server, this side of the fan faces the rear of the case.
